Your installer will remove the cloth from your front and rear seats, replacing it with your new premium interior, including all the door panels and center console covering (depending on the vehicle). As a general rule: if it has cloth on it, we replace it with your new premium interior.
If you choose a two-tone option, the tow-tone colors will be placed on the front driver and passenger as well as the outer seats in the rear. Note that the middle rear seat will be a single-tone color as this is typical with factory designs.
Virtually all mid-market cars have leather-trimmed seats, which means that part of the seat is covered with leather and part is covered with high-quality synthetic material.

Our industry leading Premium Leather receives a special retannage which enriches the leather and tightens the grain structure. Tuscany
Katzkin Tuscany Leather is an elegant, fine-grained, automotive leather made from the clearest of Brazilian hides. This exclusive leather has been fully enriched and lightly corrected to produce a hand which is superior to other automotive leathers. The vegetable combination retannage creates the luxurious, tight grain texture and roundness of hand. This clear leather reveals its natural characteristics while retaining the high performance necessary to meet strict automotive performance specifications. Barracuda
Katzkin Barracuda is a unique preparation of our Premium Leather, providing a striking visual effect. In production, the leather is aniline dyed, with rich colorful dyes that fully penetrate the leather. Barracuda is then finished with a solid (usually Black in color) protective finish. Finally, the leather is perforated with a square shaped perf design, revealing the rich contrasting dye color around the edges of the perforated squares. Barracuda adds an element of drama and sophistication to any application.
Suedezkin

No, these are not seat covers. Katzkin interiors are professionally-installed. A Katzkin authorized professional installer will remove all of the cloth from the seats and replace it with a new premium interior, complete with door panels and console covering (depending upon the vehicle). A good rule of thumb: if it has cloth on it, we will replace that cloth with the new premium interior.

Our materials have received a protective treatment during the manufacturing process, which will protect the surface from the soiling and staining of everyday use throughout the life of your Katzkin interior. If necessary, we recommend the following procedures for cleaning:
For Spots and Spills: Blot any excess liquid immediately with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge. If necessary, use clear, lukewarm water and dry with a clean towel and then air dry. Do not dry wet areas with heat dryers, hair dryers, etc. as this will damage the material.
For Stubborn Spots and Stains: Use a mild solution of Ivory bar soap (not dishwashing liquid) and clear, lukewarm water. Apply the soap to a clean, wet sponge and blot the affected area. Do not apply force or pressure, as the heat and friction of rubbing will damage the surface over time. Rinse and allow to air dry naturally.
For Disinfecting: Katzkin recommends using only botanical-based disinfectants on vehicle seating surfaces used in accordance with the directions on the product label. Alcohol or ammonium-based disinfectants could damage your interior when used consistently over time.
Do Not Use: Saddle soaps, oils, abrasives, cleaners containing detergent (such as dishwashing liquids), solvents (mineral spirits), any products containing alcohol (hand sanitizers), household disinfecting sprays or wipes, varnish, ammonia water or any products containing bleach, as these types of cleaners will cause damage to the protective top coat of the interior and use of listed products may void your warranty.
Note regarding Blue Dye Transfer: Some clothing items (such as darker jeans) contain dyes that may transfer to lighter color upholstery surfaces, including lighter color automotive leathers. This dye transfer occurs naturally over time and does not reflect a defect in the finish of the leather. If you are concerned about the possibility of blue dye transfer, we recommend that you consider a darker color for your leather interior.
